Quest Promotes Knapp Connectors at Timber Expo Show
Quest Hardware had a stand at the Timber Expo show which is part of Construction Week 10th -12th of October, specifically to display the range of Knapp steel timber connectors for the construction industry.
The show lasted three days and typically has over 6,000 visitors at the NEC, Birmingham.
Ross Wells, Director at Quest, commented “We experienced a lot of interest at the show and it was great to demonstrate the connectors in person”.
The range includes the, RICON, RICON S, WALCO 40, WALCO V, GIGANT, and MEGANT timber connectors, which can be used to connect wood, concrete or steel. Knapp is an Austrian timber connector brand with 30 years’ experience of developing connecting systems for timber buildings.
Ross added “Visitors to the stand all spoke of an upward trend in timber frame construction and prefabrication and many requested prices and further information”. There was particular interest in WALCO which is used to connect prefabricated walls and RICON® that is used in structural timber construction.
A wide range of timber construction companies visited the stand, including prefabricated house builders, timber frame builders and companies that manufacture bespoke garden building and glamping pods.
KNAPP® Connecting Systems provide total or part prefabrication depending on project requirements and are compliant with (ETA) European Certification and have CE-marking.
