Forstner bit - These bits are unique in that they are guided by the rim of the bit rather than the centre or a spiral, this feature produces holes that are extremely accurate and flat bottomed. It is also possible to bore overlapping holes and angled holes with a forstner bit. All bits are 90mm long; for bits up to 30mm dia. the shank diameter is 8mm, 32mm dia. and above it is 10mm.
